Emmy Ledbetter has worked as the marketing coordinator for Tige Boats, Inc. located in Abilene, Texas and is currently Vice President of Fuel Records. She enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking and volunteering at local charity organizations. Her latest project, BLUE OCTANE, a wakeboard inspired album featuring Grammy winning producer RockWilder, available at boardbeats.com, brings 18 of the top riders in the world into the studio to create and customize music that will inspire their ride.

I recently caught up with Emmy to talk about the release of BLUE OCTANE, but Emmy wanted to talk wakefirst. So, we spent sometime talking about our wake driven social network here on the inter-web. As founder of the Oklahoma State University Wake Club, she's into what we are doing. She's the kind of member that makes wakefirst such a strong community.

Then we talked about the album, which I learned was the number one download the day it was released, pretty cool. I think Emmy's onto something. Wakeboard culture is highly influanced by music.
